Poker Face

Lady Gaga

This interesting version of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face was played both during the show and news with Howard’s comment of “This is a beautiful one.” Robin had
also commented that “Psych! is back in a big way” after not being played for two weeks because of the shows vacation time.

Up Around The Bend

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) recorded this back in 1970. Up Around The Bend has a great belting vocal by lead singer John Fogerty. Because of the
words to the chorus, this had to be done with very similar sounding lyrics but a very different overtone.

Mama Told Me Not To Come

Three Dog Night

One of the great Three Dog Night songs (Mama Told Me Not To Come) was originally written by Randy Newman. This was taken from the Three Dog Night version
since it went to #1 and more people would know it. The topic for this one was Robin learning about her (not so favorite subject) by watching a video. Can
you guess what it was? Take a listen and see if you remember this very talked about topic.

Forget You

Cee Lo Green

This Cee Lo Green tune called Forget You has a much more explicative title. Of course, with such a title the idea to expand on that a bit couldn’t be passed
up. This one talks about Robin and all of her fruit & veggie adventures.

Abbey Road

Beatles

The Beatles Abbey Road has a 14 minute medley that was cut down to just a minute and a half. Howard was talking about it one morning on the show and this
was done the next day. It was pretty ambitious because it’s 4 songs in one.

Where It's At

Beck

Another song special enough to be played during the actual show. Where It’s At by Beck was aired during the second hour and as soon as it started Howard said “This is good, I know this” Robin said “Oh, it’s Beck.” They
both started laughing at the chorus and Robin thought the words were particularly funny.

Tales of Brave Ulysses

Paradise City

Guns & Roses

Of course there had to be at least one Robin didn’t like. The Guns & Roses tune Paradise City and here it is for you to judge. She said she was becoming
a big fan of Psych! until now. Howard played it several times during the next few months but there’s no telling if she ever changed her views.

The Twist

Chubby Checker

Here’s one that was even too much for Robin to handle. The warning on this one is it’s not for the faint of heart.

Show Me The Way

Peter Frampton

A suggestion by Sal for the song Show me the way. Also played going in to commercial breaks.

I'm Your Boogieman

KC & The Sunshine Band

The only thing that could work as well as I’m Your Boogieman would be “booty man” for Robin. There’s also a “cookie man” version for Ronnie Mund.

Brown Eyed Girl

Van Morrison

Brown Eyed Girl takes on a special meaning wwhen listening to this version. During a live appearance Psych was able to encourage Howard and the crew to have a sing along.

Cecilia in place of Robin’s middle name (Ophelia) works great here. The first time it was played she mentioned songs usually don’t make reference to her middle name.

Mrs Robinson

Mrs Robinson, talking about what would happen if Robin had a son.

Sooner or Later

Grass Roots

Sooner or Later is a song from the early 70’s that lends itself perfectly to Robin’s posterior.

later in her news segment but cut off after the first 8 seconds.

This was a song Howard always liked and often talked about. He said this version was “beautiful and had great vocals.” It was played more than 5 times within 3 months and Howard loved to sing along during the endof the song.

Give it Away Now

Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Chili Peppers spawned this thought for Give it Away Now complete with the original studio drum and guitar tracks taken from a pre-mix multitrack.

Bad Romance

Lady Gaga

The second version of this song done for Robin’s trip to Guatemala.

Bad Romance

Lady Gaga

There are two versions of this Lady Gaga song. This one is the Robin news parody.

(Sittin' on) The Dock Of The Bay

Otis Redding

(Sittin’ on) The Dock Of The Bay sparked a discussion between Howard and Robin in which Howard said, “Imagine if you had to do everything that was mentioned
in the song?” Robin asked if she could be reading at the time because she couldn’t imagine that and it went on from there.

Hurdy Gurdy Man

Donovan

A Parody of Donovan’s Hurdy Gurdy Man

Suite Judy Blue Eyes

Crosby Stills & Nash

Some really cool harmonies in this Crosby Stills & Nash tune Suite Judy Blue Eyes. Howard said yet again, “this guy really loves you” followed by “Wow, this is some saga, he wrote an opus.” Robin said “Psych! is coming on strong this year.”

My Sharona

The Knack

Since the death of the lead singer from the Knack, My Sharona was spoofed and Howard commented that the song centered around male private parts.

Do Wah Diddy Diddy

Manfred Mann’s Earth Band

The song Do Wah Diddy gets a whole new meaning pertaining to Robin’s body parts. Howard said “Man, he loves you more than Little Mikey” Robin said “i don’t
like that one, there’s not enough love.” The second time it was played she laughed at Howard singing along and said, “ok, I’m feeling it more now.”

Fire Fly

Owl City

A funny take on the song Firefly by Owl City.

I Gotta Feeling

The Black Eyed Peas

This was played while George Takei was sitting in and he laughed throughout the song saying “I finally feel like I arrived.” Howard said that Robin has to be complimented with that kind of song and she said “Psych! is great, I like that they’re so clever.”

During the first airing of this song Howard said “That’s the #1 song by Taio.” The second time it was played Robin chimed in to say “That’s by Usher.

really loves you” and Robin said “I love his songs, he’s my favorite.”

Yes

Inspired by Round About from Yes. This was the second Psych! parody played right after 6:AM and the second Robin parody to ever open up the show. Howard
was talking about the best Yes song ever recorded and this was played the next day. He said “wow, what production” and had a discussion about Robin’s bottom.

This was played several times when it was first aired. Howard said he loved it and commented on the production and lyrics saying “amazing he rhymed heinous with anus.” Robin said, “I stuck with that one all the way through, nicely done.”

In Da Club

50 Cent

each time this was played Robin got befuddled. One time she didn’t start her news and when Howard said what’s up, there was a looooooong pause and she said “that song really unnerves me.”

Drop it Like it's Hot

Snoop Dogg

A Parody of Snoop Dogg’s Drop it Like it’s Hot.

Purple Rain

Prince

Prince’s Purple Rain was bastardized for this version which was inspired by Medicated Pete’s karaoke version. It also became a favorite to end most of Psych’s live appearances. The first time it aired Howard talked about
Prince but the most memorable was when Artie asked Howard to put these guests in order. Robin’s San Francisco incident, Artie’s $5000 whore and Neil Young.
Howard kept them in that order.

Lion Sleeps Tonight

The Tokens

When this was first aired Howard kept singing “I’m in your butt” and said he would be singing it all day. He mentioned he doesn’t like the word (heinie) but it worked in this parody. He also said what a compliment for Robin
to have songs written about her butt.

Hey Soul Sister

Train

Sal and Richard played a version of their own take on this one but this version of Soul Sister is still somewhere in the archives.

Calling All Angels

Done to the Train song Calling All Angels.
